This is a case study for a New Years Eve wedding at Hazelwood Castle, where we provided the cocktail bar service for the evening reception.

Last week we had a wonderful time organising the cocktail bar and drink service for a wedding at the gorgeous Hazelwood Castle, between York and Leeds. The opulence made it the perfect setting for a lovely wedding.

The history of the castle was also evident making it very characterful. One thing we took away from this event were the decorations and subtle touches made to the already wonderfully decorated and opulent venue. Nudes, pale pinks and beige are set to be a popular trend for 2017 weddings. Here are a few ideas you could take away for your wedding décor:

These gorgeous floral bouquets were everywhere, decorating the tables, sideboards, entrances, cake table. There were also many scented candles creating an enchanting atmosphere throughout the venue.

Our Brief

To provide a cocktail bar for the evening reception of a New Years eve wedding at Hazelwood castle. The groom personalised the menu to include his and his guests favourite cocktails.

What we did

We set up in the parlour while the guests had the wedding breakfast in the main hall, this minimalized disruption during the meal service and meant the cocktails were a surprise when guests exited the main hall. We ran the cocktail bar from 8pm – 1am, seeing in the New Year.
